Uuringute tulemusi

Kindlasti väärivad veel äramärkimist järgnevad värskete uuringute tulemused: BCAA manustamine enne kangiga kükkimise harjutust vähendab treeningujärgset kurnatust ja hilisemat lihaste valulikkust (Shimomura,Yamamoto et al. 2006); BCAA-d aktiveerivad valgusünteesi eest vastutavaid ensüüme ja vähendavad valkude lammutamist nii vastupidavus- kui jõutreeningu korral (Blomstrand et al. 2006); BCAA-d aitavad edukalt võidelda närvisüsteemi üleväsimusega vastupidavustreeningutel (Blomstrand 2006) ning kiirendavad koos glutamiini ja arginiiniga taastumisprotsesse ja võimendavad treeningefekti (Ohtani et al. 2006); vanemate inimeste skeletilihaste valguainevahetus eelistab hargnenud ahelaga aminohappeid, eelkõige leutsiini ning vältimaks/leevendamaks eaga kaasnevat lihasmassi vähenemist, ollakse seisukohal,et pikaajaline (kestva kuurina) asendamatute aminohapete, eriti leutsiini toidulisandina kasutamine on põhjendatud (Fujita, Volpi 2006).

Seega eksisteerib teaduslik tõendusmaterjal (millest sai tutvustatud väikest osa), et hargnenud ahelaga aminohapped eesotsas leutsiiniga stimuleerivad otseselt skeletilihaste valgusünteesi ja omavad antikataboolset ning lipolüütilist toimet..


Kokkuvõte

BCAA-d on piisavalt tugeva toimega selleks, et piirduda periooditi (näiteks rasvade põletamise faasis) treeningueelselt- ja järgselt ainult nendega: 10 g enne ja 10 g peale tugevat treeningut (või 5+5 g puhast leutsiini) veega asendab ükskõik millist toitesegu. Poole tunni pärast on omal kohal kas valgu/süsivesiku taastusjook või tahke toit, kuidas kellegile vaja on või meeldib.
